Steven B Robbins Foundation.

The Steven B. Robbins Foundation was created by Steve's wife, Karen and his daughters Ashley, Kristyn and Kirklyn following his death in September 2012.  During the last ten years of his life he fought melanoma, colon cancer, and ultimately succumbed to leukemia. As Steves daughters, we searched for college scholarships for children of cancer patients before and after his death, and found nothing.  We decided it was time for a change.  This is where the idea was born.  Steve believed in pursuing an education, and we know first hand the financial and emotional hardship that a cancer diagnosis can put on a family.  We want to commend Coachella Valley students for continuing to pursue an education, despite the bumps in the road they have faced.  We can not send someone to college, but we would love to help out with books, or the many other incidental expenses that come up.
